The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) has been established in the year 2023 with an intake of 60 undergraduate students. The B.E. CSE (Cybersecurity) program is designed to address the escalating demand for proficient security professionals in various sectors, including public, private, data security, and network/cloud security domains. This program blends specialized cybersecurity courses with essential computer science subjects, aiming to equip students with the expertise needed to protect systems, identify and analyze threats, respond to cyber-attacks, and develop comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.
Spanning four years, this undergraduate program offers a robust foundation in fundamental sciences, mathematical principles, cybersecurity, cryptography, network security, secure programming, and ethical hacking.
