Dr.M.Saravanan

Dr.M. Saravanan working as a Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, India. He is working as a faculty in SSMIET since 24.06.2016. He has more than 24 Years of Teaching Experience in various colleges in various designations right from Lecturer to Principal. He received his PhD in the title Scatter Search Algorithm for Scheduling of Various Manufacturing Systems from Anna University Chennai. His research interests are in the areas of scheduling for manufacturing systems, robotics, production planning, Composites, optimization techniques, Agile Manufacturing, etc.. He has published more than 60 technical papers in the refereed international journals and more than 140 papers in the national and international conferences. He bagged three university awards and a state award for his tireless services in national service scheme for more than 12 years.
